My name is Len Griffin. With my wife Sharon, we have pastored Covenant of Grace Christian Fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona for 31 years. This blog was created to chronical an adventure I have dreamed about for over 30 years; hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. But it is more than that. I hope to share insights and experiences that will bring into focus God's majesty in creation and His goodness and kindness in our lives. My partner in this journey is Jerry O'Farrell, a longtime friend and fellow believer. You may hear from him from time to time here as well. I have called this Blog Ascending to Higher Ground because it is for me a goal to find a higher place in my relationship with Christ.
